HAL can produce a variety of web pages to display your results and other information.
There are two fundamentally different ways to produce them.
-
Dynamic Pages are made using
HAL's Club Results Service. This is the easy way to keep all your results
up to date on the web. It makes a copy of everything on our server, which makes
dynamic web pages on request.
Click here for an example of dynamic web pages. The results are updated
automatically every time you run the Club Results Service program. Once set up,
the whole process is very slick and it only takes a minute to ensure that your latest
results are on the web.
- Static Pages are html files corresponding to paper reports. You
paste them into your web site using your normal editing tool. For example, here
are web pages for a single level race,
a single handicap race and a
series. You can also make pages of boats
in a class (for an entry list) and numerous others.

Note that the pages produced may contain adverts to help defray the cost of the
HAL's Race Results web server. The ads can be removed on payment of a modest
annual fee. |
