Analysis by type

Meaning of the data in the table

  • Type is the type of boat (sometimes called the class of boat, eg. Laser, Sigma 33). This is culled from the information in the Boat Register in HAL's Race Results. There is an entry in the table for each type that has at least one result in a race that meets the quality standards.
  • Number of boats is the number of boats of that type.
  • Number of good performances is the number of results for boats of this type that are within the poor performance threshold.
  • Number of poor performances is the number of results for boats of this type that are not within the poor performance threshold.
  • Av TCC achieved is the average time correction coefficient achieved by this type of boat.
  • Lowest TCC used is the slowest time correction coefficient used in HAL's Race Results to calculate a result included in these statistics.
  • Highest TCC used is the fastest time correction coefficient used in HAL's Race Results to calculate a result included in these statistics.
