HAL's Club Results Service Formats

The server can display your results in a variety of formats. You can see some illustrations by following the links below.

The various parameters that you can pass to the basic URL (http://www.HalsRaceResults.com/crs/crs.aspx) are as follows.

Parameter Meaning
ClubKey The key that was allocated to your club when you first enrolled in HAL's Club Results Service. It you do not specify the result set by means of the parameter DSKey then the system will show the result set that was updated last by your club.
ClubName or Club This is an alternative to ClubKey. Speficy your club's login name rather than the ClubKey it corresponds to.
DSKey The key to a particular result set. If you provide this parameter you do not need to provide either ClubKey or ClubName since each result set belongs to a particular club. A result set corresponds to the entire set of data that was in HAL's Race Results on your computer when you uploaded to the results service. In other words a result set is a mirror image of what is in your club's computer.
ClassKey The class whose results you want shown when the page opens. The user can always change to a different class after the page is on his screen using the drop-down menus, unless you limit his ability to do so using the NumberOfLists parameter (see below).
SeriesKey The series whose results you want shown when the page opens. The user can always change to a different series after the page is on his screen using the drop-down menus, unless you limit his ability to do so using the NumberOfLists parameter (see below).
RaceKey The race whose results you want shown when the page opens. The user can always change to a different race after the page is on his screen using the drop-down menus, unless you limit his ability to do so using the NumberOfLists parameter (see below).
Stylesheet or SS While you can do simple alterations to the styling of the page from the control panel, you can also write your own style sheet. If you do so you must host that style sheet on your own web site and provide a link to it with the Stylesheet parameter.
Banner While you can upload your own banner from within HAL on your computer, you can also link to a banner elsewhere on the web. If you do so you must host that banner on your own web site and provide a link to it with the Banner parameter.
NumberOfLists or NL The number of menus that the user can access to change the page. The maximum is 4, which means he can change the result set, class, series and race. If you specify NumberOfLists=3 he cannot change the result set, but can change the class, series and race. Similarly NumberOfLists=2 means he can change just the series and race, NumberOfLists=1 means he can only change the race and NumberOfLists=0 means he can change nothing. NumberOfLists = -1 removes the whole top of the page containing the menus.
FontSize or FS The size of font used. Default is 12 point. Minimum is 8 and maximum is 60.
Scroll Make the page scroll if all the results do not fit on that screen. Format is of the form Scroll=30/10, meaning take 30 seconds to complete one scroll and start the first scroll 10 seconds after the page loads.
ShowTimeToWin If this parameter is included all DNC results in handicap races will include a time in the finish column which is when they would have to finish in order to beat the current winner. If this time has already passed, so that they cannot win, the time has a red background, if the time has not yet passed, so that they could still win, the time has a green background.
