HAL's Race Results has been in existence since 2001.
HAL's Race Results Mk.1 is a Microsoft Access
application that came out in 2001 and has been in use ever
since by many clubs around the world. Its last update (version
8.19) is still available and can be downloaded
from the Mk.1 web site. It has two companion programs:
- HAL's Club Results Service. This is a program that uploads
results from HAL Mk.1 to a server, from where they can be fed into
your club's web site.
- HAL's Performance Analyser. This is a program that analyses the
performance of boats in comparison with their handicap.
HAL's Race Results Mk.2. This is a stand-alone program
that incorporates all the above features of HAL
Mk.1.
- Versions 9.11 to 9.22 were brought out during the spring and
early summer of 2009 introducing increasing functionality at
each issue.
- The latest resease of
the 2010 program is
10.13
Future plans include team racing, series run in flights,
as used in the Topper Class, and features to help with the
administration of protests and jury decisions.
