Version 10.12 was issued on 1 July 2010
Races continuing past midnight. A
warning is given if the race officer changes the date of a
finish in a handicap race. This is to avoid errors when the
RO clicks the calendar inadvertently. You can ignore the
warning if the race really did finish on a different day.
Show boat name rather than helm when entering results. When entering results
by sail number, you can choose to show boat or helm name in
the list of boats alongside the sail number.
Race notes. The
notes field of the race results screen can be edited for all
race status settings except when the race has been validated.
More robust saving to a file. When you open a file the system copies it to a
reversion file with the suffix "_Revert". This is a safety
measure to ensure you do not lose all your data if your computer
crashes. Once you have safely saved your
data the reversion file is deleted.
HAL remembers if you reject an update. You can reject a
suggestion to update to a newer version of HAL and tell the system not to ask
again about that particular
upgrade. The system will only suggest an upgrade when
a further new version is available.
Tandem races show status and RO name.
When viewing tandem race results, the status now
reflects that of the underlying race(s) (i.e. in-play
or validated) and the name of the race officer is carried
across.
ISAF xml output. Series results can be
output as an ISAF
xml regatta-reporting file.
