Version 10.01 was issued to beta testers on
18 Jan 2010.
This is the first issue of 2010 software. It does not have the 2010
Portsmouth Yardstick numbers, however, because they are not yet available
from the RYA.
The main developments from the previous version (9.22) are:
- Results can be read from a spreadsheet.
- There is a new pdf
manual for the program, accessible from the
Help menu.
- Series points are printed on results pages for single races, as well
as the points in that race.
- Editing a boat's place in a level race is much easier, using up
and down buttons on the results screen.
- Paper printouts are allowed to spread across more than one sheet
horizontally, if they do not fit the paper.
- Series results
are calculated much faster for large fleets.
- Turnouts can be analysed class by class, or series by series, as
well as overall.
- The setup and log in for HAL's Club Results
Service is on the Setup screen. This allows the
administrator to control setup while leaving the actual uploading of
results open to race officers.
- Flag images are printed on the race officers' crib
sheets
