HAL Bug 71104 - Email addresses limited to 50 characters

Versions of HAL's Race Results that exhibit the bug: All 2007 versions

Symptoms. If a list of email addresses whose total length is greater
than 50 characters is entered into a boat's Email box in the
Boat Register,
an error is generated when you make a series report or when you update the server
in HAL's Club Results Service. |

How to reproduce the symptoms. Log in as the administrator. Type
in a list of email addresses, separated by semi-colons, into the
Email box
in the Boat Register for a particular boat. Go to the review by series
page and try to print a report for a series in which the boat competes. This
has to be an overall series summary report, not the report for an individual race.
An error with the message "error generating list of queries Err3163" appears. |

Work-around. Make sure that the list of email addresses has a total
length of 50 characters or less. |

Resolution. The problem has been resolved in version 7.14 of HAL's
Race Results. |
