HAL's Race Results Bulletin

This year's issue of HAL's Race Results is now available, complete with the 2008 Portsmouth yardstick numbers.

As I told you in November, the program is now FREE. You can download it from the web site and use it as much as you like, on as many computers as you like.

If you require a CD, there is a small charge to cover production, packaging and postage. Please download the request form.

I still intend to make a modest return for my efforts, so I have decided to show advertisements on the web pages. These are relatively small and unobtrusive and will, if Google does its job properly, be highly relevant to sailing. Click here for an example of the adverts using HAL's Club Results Service and here for an example on a static page, such as you might paste manually onto your own web site.

If you do not want to have advertisements, there is an edition of the program that does not produce them. I shall charge the same for it as I have done in the past, namely £50 a year. Please download the request form.

Have you tried HAL's Club Results Service yet? This really is the easiest way to put your results onto the web. And again it is FREE. After you have updated HAL's Race Results, it takes just a couple of clicks to have it all on the web. It could not be easier. And you can set the program to send emails to the competitors, with a link to the latest results so that they can see how they did.
