Now that the season is underway for most clubs, I would like to bring you up to date on a couple of developments concerning types of handicap. Version 7.12 of the program was published in late March. The only difference from Version 7.11, which you received on CD, is that the Island Handicap System, used in the Channel Islands, has been added to the list of available handicap types. Version 7.13 was published in early April. This brought the program into line with a change in the Small Catamaran Scheme, which now uses three decimal places to display handicaps rather than two as previously.

If you do not use either the Island Handicap System or the Small Catamaran Scheme, neither version is of relevance to you and Version 7.11 will serve you perfectly well.
