How do I make web pages of my results? |
|
There are three ways to make web pages from your results in HAL's Race Results. |
|
The easiest way is to use HAL's Club Results Service.
This puts all your results onto a server from where they can be
viewed directly, or incorporated into pages on your own web
site. Just run the Club Results Service program each time you
have new results and your web
site will be up to date and ready for all to see. |
|
The second way is to make a complete set of static pages,
consisting of an index page and a set of results pages. Log in as Administrator and choose Review by Series. Open
the Web menu and click Make Web Pages. You are asked where you
want to store the pages (a set of html files starting with one called index.htm)
and then pages are made for each of the series you are reviewing. If you wish
to make web pages for just some of your classes, select the classes with the View
menu before making the web pages. You then copy the pages produced to your
web site like any other files. |
|
The third way is to make a web page from a report. HAL's Race Results has
numerous paper reports. When you are logged in as Administrator you get a
preview on screen of each report before you print it. While the report is
on screen, drop down the Report menu and click Make Web Page. This works for
all reports, not just results pages. You can make a web page from a list of
boats in a particular class, for instance, or a web page of your race schedule. |
