HAL can produce other things than paper output and
web pages.
All the normal outputs - individual race results, series results, boat
lists, handicap or turnout analyses - can be made into spreadsheets.
These can be viewed and further worked on using Microsoft Excel or one
of the compatible products such as the free
Open Office.
HAL can upload results directly to the Sail Racer web site.
HAL can
upload results directly to the RYA's
Portsmouth Yardstick analysis web site.
The overall results of a series can be output as an
ISAF xml event file, which is
becoming the standard way to exchange results internationally.
